Pricing

How pricing actually works here.

Plenty of handyman sites make you call to find out anything. Here's the model in full, before you pick up the phone.

  • A list of small jobs is priced as a block of time, half day or full day, because that's genuinely cheaper for you than per-item pricing.
  • A single clearly-defined job gets a flat quote.
  • Materials are their own line. I don't bury them, and you can buy them yourself if you'd rather.
  • Anything I can't see yet (behind a wall, under a floor) gets named as an unknown in the estimate instead of hidden in a number.
  • Whatever the number is, it's confirmed with you before any work starts.

Those are from-prices — the floor for each block, not a quote. Your exact number gets confirmed before any work starts.

Who you're hiring

One guy, and you get his name.

No franchise, no call center, no subcontractor you've never met in your driveway. Here's what that actually buys you.

A
01

One call, the whole list

Most contractors want the big job. This one was built for the stuff that piles up in between: the loose railing, the door that sticks, the five small things that never get their own contractor.

B
02

The price you were told

No surprise add-ons, no upsell into a bigger job than the one you asked about, and nothing on the invoice that wasn't discussed while I was standing there. How the pricing works →

C

Not a franchise

Connor lives and works in Pensacola. There's no call center, no dispatcher, and no subcontractor you've never met showing up in your driveway.

What I do

What people call me about most.

Six of the twelve, and these six ring the phone. Every one has its own page: what it covers, how the job goes, where my line is. Not on the list? Ask. You'll get a straight yes, or "that's a licensed trade" and who I'd bring in for it.

Landlords

Turnovers, on the clock you're actually on.

Every day a unit sits empty is money. Turnover work is a list of small repairs against a hard date, which is exactly the shape of job this business is built for. One visit, one invoice, a written condition list with photos.

Turnovers & make-readies

What a turnover visit covers

  • Patch, sand, touch-up paint
  • Doors, latches, blinds, stops, towel bars
  • Fixture, hardware and bulb standardization
  • Written condition list with photos
Service area

Pensacola and what's around it.

Based on Pensacola's north side. Not sure if you're in range? Ask. The answer is a sentence, not a form.

  • Pensacola
  • Ferry Pass
  • Brent
  • Ensley
  • Gonzalez
  • Cantonment
  • Bellview
  • Myrtle Grove
  • Warrington
  • Gulf Breeze
  • Pace
  • Milton
  • Navarre
  • Perdido Key
  • Pensacola Beach

On the edge of one of these, or just outside? Ask — I'll tell you straight whether I'll drive to you. I'd rather say no on the phone than take a job I can't get to.

The owner

Connor Brown, and that's the whole company.

Fortified Asset Solutions opened in 2026. Connor didn't start in 2026: close to ten years in construction and trades, most recently as operations manager and part-owner of a company a lot like this one, plus 15 years calling Pensacola home.

He'll tell you he went out on his own because he saw too many corners cut and too many jobs rushed. The business is new. The hands aren't.

The business opened in 2026 and reviews are earning their way on one job at a time — see the Google profile for the latest, or add yours when your job is done.

A note from Connor

I'm Connor Brown. Fortified Asset Solutions is my company — not a franchise, not a call center. The person you talk to, the person who shows up, and the person who does the work are all the same guy.

I started this company because around here the small jobs are the ones that never get a callback. The door that won't latch. The fence post leaning a little more every month. The honey-do list that's been growing since spring. That list is my whole business — there's no job too small to take seriously.

So here's how it works, plain: you tell me what needs doing, I give you a straight answer and an exact price before any work starts, and then I do the job the way I'd want it done in my own house. If something on your list needs a licensed trade — roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC — I'll tell you that straight too, and help you line it up instead of pretending it's mine to do.

Send the list. I'll handle it.
